  • Safeguarding

At Longshaw Community Junior School we are committed to ensuring the children's safety and wellbeing needs are always met. In order to achieve this, we have designated safeguarding leaders and a pupil well-being team who ensure this happens on an daily basis. Safeguarding is the responsibility of every member of staff, which is underpinned by an ethos of vigilance and professional curiosity.

All staff receive mandatory safeguarding training annually, in addition to regular updates from our safeguarding team over the academic year. If you would like to discuss a safeguarding issue please contact any member of the team and we will assist you.
