The Governing Body works with the school to ensure that we deliver a good quality education. Together with the Headteacher, who is responsible for day-to-day management, they set the school's aims and policies. They provide strategic direction for the school, act as a “critical friend” for the Headteacher, and ensure that we are accountable.

School Governors are enthusiastic about children’s development and passionate about the prosperity of our school. They have a very active role in shaping and developing the future of both.

Governors are appointed by the Governing Body and serve a minimum of 4 years.
